Changing your phone number on Binance requires security verification. With your old number available, the self-service process takes about 5 minutes. If the old number is no longer active, identity verification or customer support is needed. Withdrawals are restricted for 24 hours after the change.
If you do not have a Binance account, first register on the Binance official website. Download the official Binance app (iPhone users, see the iOS installation guide) for a smoother security settings experience.
With Old Phone Number Available
- Log in to Binance App, tap your profile icon
- Go to "Security" > "Phone Verification"
- Tap "Change Phone Number"
- Enter verification code sent to old phone
- Enter email verification code
- Enter Google Authenticator code (if enabled)
- Enter your new phone number (select correct country code)
- Enter verification code sent to new phone
- Change complete
Without Old Phone Number
Method 1: Self-service Reset
Click "Unable to get verification code" during the old phone verification step. Submit ID photos and selfie for identity verification. After approval, bind the new number normally.
Method 2: Contact Customer Support
Open Binance App > "Help Center" > "Online Support". Explain your situation and submit ID documents. Processing: 1-3 business days.
Method 3: Submit a Ticket
Submit a support ticket on the Binance website under "Account Security" > "Change Phone Number". Processing: 3-7 business days.
After Changing Your Phone Number
- Withdrawal restriction: 24-hour withdrawal freeze after change
- C2C trading: May be temporarily limited
- Login notification: Email sent about the phone number change
- Trading and deposits are not affected.

- Never share verification codes

- If the old number may be reassigned, unbind it before canceling

The other person must unbind first. One phone number per account.
