Binance FAQ

How do I register a Binance account?

Go to the Binance official website, click Register, enter your email or phone number, and set a password to complete basic registration. You'll then need to complete KYC identity verification to trade normally, which usually takes a few minutes to a few hours.

Is the MetaMask wallet safe?

MetaMask is an open-source wallet with publicly auditable code, making it relatively secure. However, you must safeguard your seed phrase and private key yourself. It's recommended to write them down on paper and never take screenshots or store them on internet-connected devices.

Can I recover a lost seed phrase?

Once a seed phrase is lost with no other backup, the assets in the wallet are permanently unrecoverable. Anyone claiming they can help recover your seed phrase is a scammer. Always write down your seed phrase on paper when creating a wallet.

Where should beginners start learning?

We recommend starting with exchange registration. First, sign up on Binance or OKX and complete identity verification, then learn how to deposit USDT and perform basic spot trades, while also learning about wallet security.

What's the difference between futures and spot trading?

Spot trading means directly buying and selling crypto and holding the actual coins. Futures trading uses leverage to go long or short without holding actual coins, amplifying both gains and risks. Beginners are advised to start with spot trading.

Which network should I choose for USDT deposits?

TRC20 is recommended for the lowest fees (about 1 USDT) and fast arrival (1-3 minutes). ERC20 has higher fees but is the most widely supported. BEP20 is suitable for use within Binance. Make sure both the sending and receiving ends use the same network.

How do I install the Binance app on Android?

Android users can download the APK installation file directly without Google Play. After downloading, the system will prompt you to 'Allow installing from unknown sources' — tap Allow to install. Works on Huawei, Xiaomi, OPPO, and other brands.

What is two-factor authentication (2FA)?

Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security beyond your password. When logging in, you need to enter a 6-digit dynamic code generated by Google Authenticator. It's strongly recommended to enable 2FA on all exchange accounts to prevent theft if your password is compromised.

Why is my Binance withdrawal slow?

Withdrawal speed depends on blockchain network confirmation times. BTC takes about 20-60 minutes, ETH about 3-15 minutes, and TRC20 about 1-3 minutes. It may take longer during network congestion. Just be patient — as long as the address is correct, your funds won't be lost.
